I’ll kick it off by sharing a little about myself and why I decided to start Bloom Abroad. Living through my 20’s & almost entering my 30’s, I have had SO many things on my bucket list. Our twenties can be a confusing time where we are in the midst of finding ourselves, applying to our dream universities, starting our first adult jobs & feeling the pressures of living up to the norm. I think many of us can agree that travel can be something we feel excited for and is often put aside due to the nature of well, you know, life. A number of factors can influence why or why not we may travel - limited vacation hours, lack of time or funds, fearing travelling alone, finding the perfect travel buddy, and the list can go and on.
I hope this page serves as a way to inspire you all to fulfil those travel dreams. Whether this blog encourages you to take the leap into solo travel by getting out of your comfort zones or carving out the time in your busy schedule to go with a buddy.
